La Chevre d’Or is one of my top choices for a French Riviera chateau wedding. The spectacular Rose Garden space can host up to 80 guests, so this venue is well suited for a smaller celebration. 

It’s also a delight for those who enjoy French cuisine, as Chevre d’Or is home to a two-starred Michelin restaurant, which you can hire out for your reception, or plan a private welcome lunch to treat your guests on arrival. 

Your Chevre d’Or wedding photos will have such a romantic, ethereal vibe–imagine vibrant ivy and flowers hanging from ancient stone archways, beautiful fountains and waterfalls, and dramatic cliffside views of the sea below. 

6. Domaine de Canaille, @domainedecanaille

Domaine de Canaille is a classic chateau, recently remodeled in a beautiful, contemporary style. With a prime position within Calanques National Park, this is one of the most scenic French Riviera villa wedding venues. 

With 12 rooms, you can rent the chateau for private use, with the capacity for up to 100 guests. However, this space would be perfect for an intimate wedding, as you could say your vows on the beach, then dine and dance the night away by the pool and courtyard. The owners can help with arranging lots of special extra touches, including a private chef or electric bike tours of the area. 

7. Bastide du Roy, @bastideduroy

Dating back to 1608, Bastide du Roy is such a great choice for a historic wedding in Cote d’Azur. Originally owned by royalty, this chateau is known for its lush gardens. Adorned with historic sculptures, fountains, and charming decor, the Music, Spanish, and French gardens are all serene spaces for your outdoor ceremony and reception.

Club Dauphin, considered one of the Riveriera’s most beautiful pools, is a stylish terrace for a pre-dinner glass of wine after a beautiful vow exchange in the Gardens.
